OUR SUPPORTERS
PARTNERS IN PROTECTING MARINE MAMMALS
ORRCA’s work is strengthened by the organisations, businesses and communities who choose to stand alongside us.
From funding vital rescue equipment and frontline operations to supporting research, training, education and community awareness, our supporters help us respond when marine mammals need us most.
We’re proud to work with partners who share our commitment to protecting Australia’s whales, dolphins, seals and dugongs, and we’re incredibly grateful for the role they play in making our work possible.

Supporting the work that moves us forward
Port Authority of NSW is supporting ORRCA’s South Coast training bursary program in Eden, delivered alongside Twofold Aboriginal Corporation.
The program combines marine mammal rescue training with cultural learning, helping participants build practical response skills while strengthening understanding of Country, community and culturally informed approaches to marine wildlife response on the Far South Coast.
The Ian Potter Foundation is co-funding the development of ORRCA’s new online learning program, helping us expand access to high-quality marine mammal rescue training and knowledge across Australia.
The program will strengthen responder capability through a structured suite of essential, advanced and specialist learning modules, making training more accessible, consistent and scalable while supporting the next generation of skilled marine mammal rescuers.
The Wild Country Environmental Fund supports ORRCA’s Future Rescuers Fund, providing annual bursary placements that help make marine mammal rescue training more accessible to people who may otherwise be unable to participate. Their support helps remove financial barriers, build a more diverse and capable rescue network, and invest in the next generation of trained marine mammal responders.
The NSW Government is co-funding the development of ORRCA’s new online learning program, helping us expand access to high-quality marine mammal rescue training and knowledge across Australia.
The program will strengthen responder capability through a structured suite of essential, advanced and specialist learning modules, making training more accessible, consistent and scalable while supporting the next generation of skilled marine mammal rescuers.
NSW Wildlife Council is supporting ORRCA with funding for a dedicated seal disentanglement and rescue kit, providing much-needed specialist equipment for seal response operations across NSW.
The kit will strengthen the capability of trained rescue teams to safely assess, capture and assist entangled seals, helping improve preparedness and response as these complex incidents continue to occur along the coastline.
